Novice drivers

Novice drivers love car sharing. Are you a family not willing to purchase an additional car with limited horsepower for a short period of time? If yes, AlpsGo is the solution. Young drivers can drive our e-cars.

But be careful: our electric cars have a high torque output and must be driven CAREFULLY. Always pay attention to your own safety and that of other road users.

Important notice: car sharing vehicles of the AlpsGo fleet cannot be used for driving school training purposes.

From 22 July 2026, our system will require a deposit of €750.00 for registration as a novice driver.
Unfortunately, due to misuse and damage to vehicles caused by novice drivers, we have been forced to introduce this precautionary measure.
The deposit required serves both our and your security, as it helps to prevent misuse of the vehicles, ensures that any damage is dealt with more quickly, and helps to keep the service reliable and safe for all users.
The deposit will be refunded to you once the new driver period has expired (3 years from the date of issue) or upon closure of your account (at the earliest 3 months after your last journey).
Along with the refund, you will also receive a travel credit of €50 (only upon expiry of the new driver period).
